Europe stands at a turning point. Geopolitical tensions, fragile supply chains, energy uncertainties, and technological dependencies make one thing unmistakably clear: the resilience of critical systems determines our ability to act—and ultimately, whether we thrive or decline. Resilience is no longer a 'nice-to-have', but a matter of survival. It is increasingly emerging as a decisive competitive advantage.
Lakeside Labs aims to establish a Center of Excellence for Autonomic Resilience at its site. Achieving this vision will require close collaboration with (inter)national scientific and corporate partners. This panel will explore how such cooperation can bring together leading international players and examine the growing importance of resilience for companies operating on a global scale.
Solid State AI helps manufacturers reduce the time and effort required to move from product design to stable, at-scale production. With AIMS, engineers can input a target design and generate manufacturing steps that are optimized for real-world execution—reducing the number of experimental iterations required to reach a viable process by up to 80%. At the core is PeDT (Physics-Enhanced Digital Twin), which ensures predictions adhere to physical laws and equipment constraints—so outputs are not just theoretical, but executable on the factory floor.
